I tried to be obedient

Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr
Not much success
Least of all Tumblr
Though I like it the best

I enjoy my website
My blog here on WordPress
But here too, not much following
It's caused me some stress

Dyslexia limits the time
I can spend with these platforms
Maybe that's why
My posts don't perform

Maybe I'm too shy
Not enough bold
Too neurodivergent
Or maybe too old?

I'm a scientist by training
It's sorta driven me nuts
That I can't solve this problem
I feel like a putz

Maybe I should raise the white flag
And call it quits
Maybe the costs are too high
Too few benefits

I don't have knockout photos
Of wildlife to share
All I have are my words, my poems
Which I think are, well, pretty fair
Maybe someday I'll get somewhere

Right now I really don't know what to do ... Aarrgh
