Late Blooms, a Haiku Poem

Across a vast crowd
You wave, smile. Rushing, frantic
I couldn’t reach you

The dream came for years
I couldn’t find you, or myself
In my own soul

Now I can, Momma
Tangled complexities
Unraveled by Time

Surviving seeds
Flowers unfolding, smiling
Beckoning with voice

Wild forget-me-nots
